Bulky Waste Cleanup time again

The first of two free bulky waste collections of the year is soon to be conducted by Lithgow City Council

Council provides a free bulky waste collection service twice a year with the first of the year scheduled for the 5th March 2018.

Council’s free bulky waste collection provides you with the opportunity to tidy up around your property. All people have to do is leave any bulky waste at the kerbside near where they would normally place their garbage bin. Residents should take advantage of the service that Council is pleased to provide the community.

Bulky items will be collected providing they can be picked up by two men and any cases, boxes, cartons etc should be securely tied. No liquid or chemical items will be collected, nor will any items requiring the use of a shovel.

Anyone who wishes to take advantage of this service should, by midday on Friday the 2nd March 2018, contact Council’s Customer Service Office on 6354 9999 or alternatively you may register on Council’s website www.council.lithgow.com (by midday 2nd March 2018).

Then, on the night before Monday 5th March 2018, leave their bulky waste adjacent to where they would normally place their garbage bin for pickup.
