A morning of learning all about the plants of Newnes Plateau Shrub Swamps Newnes Plateau Shrub Swamps are an endangered ecological community found only on the Newnes Plateau. The swamps cover fewer than 650 hectares. The community is comprised of a number of endemic and rare plants. Broad Swamp in the Newnes State Forest is one of the best examples of Newnes Plateau Shrub Swamp vegetation.
