World Heritage Wonder Pass set for launch!

Lithgow has numerous attractions that catch the attention of thousands of eager tourists and locals every year. Without a doubt the three biggest are The Zig Zag Railway, Jenolan Caves, and Mt Tomah Botanic Gardens and now you can go and see all three of these spectacular attractions with the World Heritage Wonder Pass.

In conjunction with the Zig Zag Railway, Mt Tomah Botanic Gardens and Jenolan Caves Trust, Lithgow Tourism is proud to announce the launch of the brand new Wonder Pass!

Lithgow is lucky enough to have some of the most unique, beautiful and accessible world heritage listed wilderness areas in Australia. The World Heritage Wonder Pass will give you a way to see all of these areas in three very different ways. You can experience the sheer brilliance of Jenolan Caves, the unmistakable beauty of Mt Tomah Botanic Gardens or go back in time with The Zig Zag Railway. All of this can be yours with the one Wonder Pass!

Mayor Councillor Neville Castle said “The World Heritage Wonder Pass is a wonderful addition to what is already a group of major attractions for our region. I am positive that it will bring more and more visitors into our already thriving region. This Wonder Pass will not only put the different attractions on the map but it will also shine a light on Lithgow as a major tourist destination.

“With this Wonder Pass visitors will be able to visit each of the three unique attractions once over a period of 12 months. The ticket prices start at $30 for a child, $38 for a pensioner, $52 for an adult and $125 for a family pass. Tickets can be purchased from the Lithgow Visitors Information Centre or any of the attractions’ ticket offices The Wonder Pass would be a great Christmas Present for the whole family to enjoy over the coming holiday period.”

The World Heritage Wonder Pass will be officially launched this Sunday at Celebrate Lithgow by the honourable member for Bathurst Gerard Martin. So come on down and witness the start of what will surely be a huge success for Lithgow for years to come.
