Smart Meter Billing Information

Council wishes to advise that some delays were experienced for the second quarter water account notices due to the replacement of water meters.

Please be advised that some accounts may have extended billing periods that include an additional 40-80 day period on the account. This is indicated as Reading Days on the account notice.

Due to the delay in issuing accounts and the proximity to the Christmas/New Year period, Council has extended

the period for payment of the account to 30 March 2020.  After this date, the normal cycle of billing will resume.

Please note the due dates on the delayed account notices. The meter changeover will not affect any payment arrangements you may have on your account.

Council apologises for any inconvenience due to the timing of the delivery of your account notice. If you are experiencing financial hardship, please contact Council to discuss payment options.
