DEVELOPMENT PROPOSAL – DA170/25 – PROPOSED CONSTRUCTION AND OPERATION OF A MOUNTAIN BIKE PARK – STATE MINE HERITAGE PARK AND SURROUNDING PRECINCT – STATE MINE GULLY ROAD LITHGOW NSW  2790

Council is in receipt of a development application from Central Tablelands Mountain Bike Club Inc.  The development proposes to construct and operate a mountain bike park and ancillary facilities, commencing at the State Mine Heritage Park and includes bike and walking trails through the State Mine Gully Precinct – State Mine Gully Road LITHGOW NSW  2790.

The application and plans are on display for a period of 28 days until 10 December 2025, to assist you in this matter and if you wish to make a written submission.

During this period any person may inspect the plans and make a written submission on the proposal quoting Council’s file reference, Development Application DA170/25. . All submissions received during this period will be taken into consideration during Council’s assessment of the application and sent to the Western Region Planning Panel who are the determining authority for this application.

Submissions

Anyone can make a submission regarding the application.  Submissions must be:

• in writing
• marked “DA170/25”.
• sent to Council’s email – council@lithgow.nsw.gov.au OR posted/delivered to Council’s Administration Building at 180 Mort Street, Lithgow
• received by Council by no later than 4pm on 10 December 2025.
