Macrame Upcycling Workshop

21 June @ 9:00 am - 12:00 pm

Join the macrame upcycling workshop to learn how to make your own macrame potholder and select a teapot or other item of cookware to use as an upcycled ‘pot’.

With instruction from Karen, from Knots with Style, you will create your own potholder for your upcycled pot and, you will develop macrame skills so that you can continue to find creative new ways to extend the life of other old items.

No experience is necessary so whether this is your very first time or you have tried macrame before, this workshop will provide you with an opportunity to enjoy learning from an experienced teacher in a small and welcoming group.

The workshop is part of Waste2Art and will be held from 9am -12pm on Saturday 21 June, 2025, at the Lithgow Union Theatre Gallery at 65 Bridge Street, Lithgow.

The cost of the workshop is $55 which includes all materials. Numbers are limited to provide a supportive learning experience for each participant.

Tickets can be purchase through Humanitix at: https://events.humanitix.com/macrame-upcycling-workshop or by calling Council on 6354 9999.
