A retelling of Shakespeare’s famous Rom-Com\, with tongue firmly in cheek. \nWelcome to Radio Zombie! \nOur story is titled\, Love Bites…. or\, a Tale of ForBitten Love! \nYou remember the story; the tango of boy meets girl\, impulsive love\, she’s beautiful beyond even Shakespeare’s words\, he’s from the wrong side of the tracks\, her family disapproves\, and they live forever parted. \nThen there’s our couple: Juliette Chapelwood\, JULES to her friends\, a teenage Human\, a respectable\, middle-class girl\, and most importantly for our story; warm\, young\, flesh. \nThen\, there’s young Jules’ Love\, ROMANO Collina\, apparently also a teenager\, a rough boy from the wrong side of the tracks\, a dark brooding type\, and most importantly for our story; cold\, dead\, flesh… in fact\, a Zombie. \nHow do our star-crossed lovers create their story? \nFind out at the Union Theatre\, Lithgow on Wednesday 1st October 2025 \nBrought to you by Lithgow’s author Carole Kelly and producer Bryan Cutts\, with a little help from William Shakespeare. \nDoors open at 10am for a 10:15am start \nFree morning tea provided after the show \nMore info and booking: https://events.humanitix.com/something-spooky-show
