Due to a water mains break, the water supply in the area of Wolgan Road, Skelly Road, Neubeck Street, and Maddox Lane is currently being impacted. Our team are undertaking emergency repairs in the area to fix the breakage. Residents in this area may experience low to no water supply while repairs take place.
Whilst the Council cannot advise of a time for the completion of these repairs, we will aim to minimise the period of disruption. Upon return to normal service, residents may experience dirty water for a period. The Council will try to reduce this impact by flushing the mains.
Before using the water for domestic purposes, residents are advised to run the first tap that services their property to ensure the water is clean and any dirt released into the system has been flushed before running internal taps.
