Lithgow City Council advises that as a part of the Australia Day celebrations, the following roads will be closed in Portland on Friday 26 January 2024:
- Wolgan Street- between Williwa and Vale Streets
- Scheidel Lane- between Lett and Cullen Streets
These roads will be closed between 9am to 4pm to allow for Australia Day festivities between these times. The event will be run by the Portland Business Association, with assistance from Lithgow Council. All residents are encouraged to participate, celebrate, and enjoy the activities.
