Coal Mine Subsidence Compensation Act 2017 (the Act)

As part of the Act review, the NSW Government is inviting public comment to make sure the laws are still appropriate and fair for everyone. 

They are seeking your views on: 

  • The relevance of the objectives of the Act 
  • The mine subsidence damage compensation framework 
  • Development regulation within mine subsidence districts 
  • Compliance and enforcement of the Act.
