Express, empower, get loud at Lithgow Youth week 2024
Lithgow City Council and the Lithgow Young Changemakers invite Lithgow’s young people to stand up and get to Lithgow’s Youth Week event: “Valley of sound 2024” on Saturday 20 April at the Union Theatre.

Last year’s invited band Trash Baby’s drum player Corin Shearston said: Playing for Youth Week 2023 at the Union Theatre was a real thrill. It was inspiring to see such an open-minded community effort take flight, and volunteers really gave it their all for the success that the day was. Awesome venue too!”
Planet Youth Lithgow stakeholders will support our Young Changemakers, as in previous years, providing activities to give a chance for every young person to be themselves and to have the opportunity to showcase their talents, get involved and celebrate where they are from, their culture, their sexuality, gender and identity.
This event is being held to create opportunities for young people living in Lithgow and is jointly funded by Lithgow City Council and the NSW Government with the support of Planet Youth Lithgow. In all aspects of this event, including the planning, development and management of activities, young people from Lithgow have been involved.
