Council wishes to advise that work will commence on Glen Davis Road to rehabilitate the damage caused by the extensive wet weather experienced in 2022/23 on Monday 8 April.

The works will include repairs to the road surface, reinstatement of the road edges where needed and clearing of roadside drainage where required.

Works will commence at 7.00am each day and be completed by 5.00pm each afternoon.

Works are expected to take 12 weeks (weather permitting) and are being undertaken by Green Civil P/L on behalf of Lithgow City Council.

Motorists are advised that traffic control will be in place and there will be minor delays as lanes may be closed for works, however the road will remain open.

This work is funded under the NSW Governments Disaster Recovery Program. The Council is continuing to pursue funding and progress claims for other roads across the local government area that were impacted by the extreme weather experienced in 2022.

Should there be any enquiries on these works please contact Lithgow Councils Transport Manager, Paul Creelman on 6354 9999
