Lithgow Council’s final Green Waste Collection of the year is scheduled for 10th November 2025.
Council will collect garden prunings, no longer than 2 metres and not thicker than 200mm, tied in bundles.
- A weight limit of 16 kilograms for each bundle or box applies.
- A total quantity of one cubic metre, which is equivalent to about 4 wheelie bins allowed per premises.
*Please note grass clippings are no longer accepted as grass clippings in bags reduce options for beneficial re-use of green waste.
Anyone who wishes to take advantage of this service must register by midday on Thursday 6th November 2025. Registration can be completed by contacting Council’s Customer Service Office on 6354 9999 or filling in the online form on Council’s website at https://council.lithgow.com/waste-recycling/waste-greenwaste/
Remember to place your green waste on the kerb ready for collection on the Sunday, before the collection starts.
