Proposed Road Naming – Carriers Arms Close and Ostler Place, Lidsdale
Council has received a submission on the proposed naming of “Carriers Arms Close” and “Ostler Place” for the new roads created as part of DA196/18, Woodlands Estate, Lidsdale.
The proposed names comply with the Geographical Names Board criteria for road naming, and are acceptable for gazettal by the Geographical Names Board if approved by Council.
Location – Lot 2 DP 1278212, off Ian Holt Drive, Lidsdale.
Proposed Road Name – These names have been proposed to reflect the original reflecting on the history of the area for the previously Carriers Arms Inn and its employees tending horses for people staying at the Inn.
