Lithgow City Council have moved quickly to recognise the services provided by the front-line staff and volunteers in the local Police, Ambulance and emergency services agencies who were called upon to respond to a multi-vehicle accident on the Great Western Highway, Wallerawang on 29 December 2023.
A service will be held with the first responders to the accident to convey the public’s support and gratitude for the services that these people provide in times of emergency or disaster.
The service will also extend prayers of hope for the victims and the families still suffering and for those lives lost.
The service will be held Thursday 18 January 2024 at the Civic Ballroom, Lithgow commencing at 1pm.
