Council advises that Queen Elizabeth Park will be closed due to the application of an insecticide within the grounds. Works are expected to commence on Thursday 21st March 2024 at 6:00am and are expected to conclude by mid-afternoon after which point the Park be available for normal use.
The application of the insecticide is in response to the discovery of an African Black Beetle infestation within the park area.
This temporary closure is being put in place for the safety of residents while this application is being carried out. No persons are permitted to use the Park during this time.
