The Model Code of Conduct for Local Councils in NSW and Procedures for the Administration of the Model Code of Conduct for Local Councils in NSW are prescribed under the Local Government (General) Regulation 2005. Councils are required to adopt a code of conduct and procedures based on the prescribed Model Code of Conduct and Procedures.
At its Ordinary Meeting of Council for 25 August 2025, Council resolved:
25 -197 RESOLVED
THAT Council adopts the Code of Conduct and Procedures for the Administration of the Code of Conduct for Lithgow Council with only minor changes, as outlined within this report.
