Council advises that Hartley Vale Road is now open only to Hartley Valley residents and emergency services travelling into the Hartley Valley from Darling Causeway (westbound).
The Council has implemented this closure at the direction of Transport for NSW, based on safety concerns about traffic turning right onto the Darling Causeway eastbound due to the closure of Victoria Pass and the increased volume of traffic on the Darling Causeway detour.
We have traffic control in place at both ends of the road to ensure compliance. Please follow the instructions of the traffic controllers. Our staff are your neighbours, friends, and family. Please be considerate of them online and in person.
