On Thursday 17th July the Council hosted a staff BBQ at our Lithgow Depot, to celebrate NAIDOC Week. The BBQ was an opportunity for our team to acknowledge NAIDOC Week, which was held between 6 – 13 July.
Our outdoor teams don’t always get an opportunity to attend other civic events like the flag raising ceremony held at the Council Chambers last week, this BBQ offered a meaningful way for our team to participate and connect with the broader celebrations as part of Lithgow City Council’s commitment to recognising culture and community.
