Christmas and New Year Closure Period
Over the Christmas Closure Period, which commences Friday December 20th through until Monday January 6th, the Council administration centre will be closed, and the Council will be operating with reduced staff.

Council Administration & Customer Service Centre – closed from 23/12/2024 – reopen 6/1/2025
Swimming Pool – Every day except Christmas Day and Boxing Day
Libraries – Portland and Wallerawang closed 21/1/2024 reopen 7/1/2025
Lithgow closed 25/12/2024 reopen 2/1/2025
Eskbank House – Closed from 23/12/2024 – reopen 2/1/2025

Council’s complaints telephone line for the following premises which hold an Environment Protection Licence is (02) 6354 9999:
- Oakey Park Water Treatment Plant
- Lithgow Sewage Treatment Plant
- Portland Sewage Treatment Plant
- Wallerawang Sewage Treatment Plant
- Lithgow Solid Waste Facility
- Portland Garbage Depot.
This telephone line is for the purpose of receiving any complaints from members of the public in relation to the activities conducted at the premises and can be used for the reporting of sewer overflows.
