During Easter and the ANZAC Day long weekend, the Lithgow Solid Waste Facility and Portland Garbage Depot will be closed on the following public holidays:
- Good Friday, 3 April 2026 – Closed
- Easter Sunday, 5 April 2026 – Closed
- ANZAC Day, Saturday 25 April 2026 – Closed
These facilities will be open on other days with regular operating hours.
Please observe the signs at the entrance to the facilities and only dispose of accepted items.
