Water Supply Pipeline Cleaning

Water pipes

Lithgow City Council is undertaking a program of watermains cleaning across the local government area. This cleaning of the watermains and pipelines is being undertaken to ensure Council’s water supply lines are maintained and in good condition for delivering potable water to customers.

Council has engaged H&S Maintenance Pty Ltd to undertake the watermains cleaning across the network. The team at H&S Maintenance will be completing this work through to the end of April 2026. During this time the cleaning will cause an interruption to service and you will not be able to use your water connection for approximately eight (8) hours. Works will be undertaken between 7:00am – 5:00pm over the period and with as little disruption as possible.

If you have any requirements for continual water such as maintenance of water for dialysis, please contact Council at your earliest convenience. If you have any further questions, comments or would like to find out more about the project, please contact Council.
