Lithgow City Council is pleased to announce pavement rehabilitation and sealing at Sodwalls Road, covering the section between the Jerrys Meadow Road intersection and the intersections with Diamond Swamp Road and Hazelgrove Road at the Tarana end.
The construction works will be undertaken by Gracey’s Earthmoving and Excavations on behalf of Lithgow City Council and are scheduled to commence on 11 May 2026. The project is expected to take approximately 32 weeks to complete, subject to weather conditions.
During the construction period, traffic control measures will be implemented to ensure the safety of both workers and road users. Motorists travelling through the area may experience minor delays and are advised to allow additional travel time where necessary.
These important works form part of Council’s ongoing commitment to improving the safety, durability, and reliability of the local road network for residents, businesses, and road users across the region.
