The Council roads team have started work on Marsden Swamp and are undertaking preliminary guttering work in preparation to restore a partially collapsed section of the road. The road is currently open to residents only.
The Council have allocated two Jetpatcher teams to Pipers Flat Road, once patching is complete early this week the team will move on to Range Road followed by Tarana-Sodwalls Road and then on to Hampton Road in the coming weeks.
Our Lithgow roads team will commence work on Magpie Hollow Road this week where they will undertake pothole patching.
The Urban roads team have:
- Applied new coat on the laneway behind Padley Street and works
- Commenced investigating options to repair the collapsed stormwater culvert at the end of Gasworks Lane which is currently closed to traffic.
- Undertaken patching works on Wrights Road to repair sections of the road which were impacted during water mains repairs.
- Undertaken street cleaning on Main Street.
As we head in to spring our parks and gardens team are working hard to keep our playing fields in tip-top shape.
All works are weather dependent.
