Recent and upcoming works across the Lithgow LGA:
Road surface treatments are continuing across the LGA, with jetpatching now completed along John Mackey Drive.
This week, the jetpatching crew will be targeting Portland–Sunny Corner Road and McKanes Falls Road.
The urban roads team have also been working in Lithgow, Clarence, and Hartley, carrying out patching works on a number of local streets and lanes in in those areas. These works include stabilisation and patching works on Hassans Walls Road over the past fortnight.
Grading is currently occurring on Norman Lee Road Hampton and Blackheath Creek Road, Kanimbla.
The Council have some new arrivals within our equipment fleet including a new roller and a backhoe, which is boosting our capacity to deliver road works.
Infrastructure works include road patching along Railway Parade, where plumbing works were recently completed.
Other urban maintenance works have been completed including replacement of damaged street signs and street cleaning in the Lithgow CBD.
