Council wishes to advise that there will be an interruption to water supply due to planned works for customers in Wallerawang from 9am on Monday 30th March.
Council is undertaking repair and service renewal on the main that services Main St Wallerawang Monday 30th March 2026 at 9am. Residents in these areas may experience a reduction in water pressure or no water.
A closure of Part of Main St at the location of railway station will be in place during these repairs and a de-tour will be activated around the site.
Council can advise a time for the completion of will be approximately 6 hours.
Upon return to normal service, residents may experience dirty water for a period. Council will endeavour to minimise this by flushing the mains. Before using the water for domestic purposes, residents are advised to run the first tap that services their property to ensure the water is clean and any dirt released into the system has been flushed before running internal taps.
