Lithgow Animal Shelter

Lithgow Animal Shelter is located off Geordie Street (Tip Road), Lithgow.

Access to the Lithgow Animal Shelter is limited to appointment only.

Please contact Council on 02 6354 9999 Monday-Friday to arrange an appointment with Council Officers to surrender, collect or view animals the day prior to attendance to avoid disappointment and refusal of entry.

Lost animals can be left in the drop-boxes provided and are open 24 hours.

All release fees must be paid before the release of your animal. No cash is accepted at the Animal Shelter. All payments must be made by Eftpos or Credit Card only.
